Making Shirts
It's really awesome to see that alot of you have taken interest in Akumu Ink! We appreciate so much the interest in our designs and will make sure to provide fresh and exciting designs in the future as well. We've been busy every night so far printing your shirts one by one as soon as we get the 'notification of payment' email. It's really great every time I lift my screen from off the shirt to reveal a printed design. They just look so good. And we personally make our tags ourself too, here are some images of the paper that Dora stains with coffee as well as blood red paint to give you that extra dark feeling ;)

Weekend
Another weekend gone by. Dora and I took a little break from tshirts to just chill, catch up on movies and sleep (alot). Working non stop when you have a fulltime job, or go to University fulltime can take it's toll on you. So it was nice just to stay in and hang out together. Dora tried to let more tshirt blogs know about us, and I worked on making our myspace page look a little better. It's really nice to see the evolution of everything coming together. It can only get better and better. If you haven't already added us as a friend on myspace do so here.

11:11
Ever look at a digital clock and see 11:11? Ever see 11:11 for over a week? It's so creepy! I don't know what to make of it. I do look at the clock during other times of the day but there's something eerie about seeing 11:11 about 5 times in a 9 day period. I've been reading that it may have something to do with a higher consciousness, a sign from above. I even heard on Coast to Coast that there's a guy who created glasses to see ghosts, and something about the frequency of the signal being at 111.1 ......weird!!!

Coast to Coast
For those of you wanting to expand your minds about such things as ghosts, parallel universes, ufo's, big foot, government conspiracies, global warming, and even about dreams. I've been listening to this radio show on and off for over five years and it's amazing how much this program has opened my mind to. It's crazy how the more you learn the less you realize you actually know. This radio show is really for people who want to think outside the box. Yes, often times there is the annoying paranoid conspiracy theorist calling in, but if you really listen to the general information provided you can really learn alot. Coast to Coast with George Noory, Ian Punnett, and the recently retired Art Bell is really something worth checking out.

The Bedlam in Goliath
Ok, I really wasn't anticipating the Mars Volta's newest release to be as awesome as it is. Maybe due to the disappointment I had with their prior album "Amputechture". But this new one reminds me of the first time I listened to "Frances the Mute". These guys really show their rhythmic strength and vocal hooks. I keep finding myself humming parts of the songs over and over again as though they were haunting me from another realm. The drummer is crazy, the guitarist is insane, and how the hell can vocals that high come out of a man? Not to mention the messed up concepts these guys come up with for their albums. I will take my time driving in to work tomorrow so I can make sure to enjoy the sounds of this new Mars Volta album played loudly through my car stereo.
Check it out.

Akumu Ink is FINALLY LAUNCHED!
Hi Guys and Gals!

Yesterday, Joey and I have finally completed the shopping cart. It's been a long process of understanding which shopping cart is available to us, Canadians (PayPal's Website Payment Standard vs. Pro) and which shopping cart we should use (Authorize.net vs. PayPal). We have finally decided on PayPal's Website Payment Standard and will switch to Pro once it has become available to Canada hopefully by the summer.
Just a side note: you do not need PayPal account to shop at our site. PayPal is merely a mediator. You can use your own credit card without registering with PayPal. We also do not store your credit card information. All we need to know is your address and that you've paid for the product(s).

So, our apologies for the long wait. We hope you like the new layout of the page, just like we do :)
Thank you!!
love,
Dora.
PS: Akumu Ink has been officially launched on 02-02-08!
