I'm going to be wearing this shirt on a 30 second "spotlight" in my nutrition class. Promotion + class marks, ain't I the smartest thing? :P

Get The Glass - 3D online game

So, Joey found this 3D game from a 3D site: www.gettheglass.com; one of them Got Milk? commercial games.


It's about a family of four criminals who are going after a glass of milk in a factory. It involved throwing a dice, being chased by the police, answering questions about milk and interactive games. It reminds me of Candy Land and Monopoly that we used to play when we were kids, except that we are actually in it!

It's really fun the first time around and everyone should give it a try! Let me know what you think about it ;)

Metric - LIVE IT OUT

Joey told me about this band called Metric just this morning. I went on YouTube to check it out, and the song Monster Hospital is pretty cool! Their music video is totally in sync with our concept. Their website is: www.ilovemetric.com.

If Metric ever needs someone with the similar concept to design their shirt images, we sure will do it with an open arm ;) (me! me! me!)

OMG! We got totes!!

Another weekend has passed, and it has been proved to be a fruitful one! *jumps in excitement*

We got some Medusa's Three totes printed and they look friggin' awesome! We love how they turn, out and we know you would too :)

Design Process

I'd like to share with you the process as to how I go about making my designs. All Akumu Ink artwork is created completely from scratch allowing you to be sure you'll be wearing something completely unique from anyone else. The images below were created with 3D software. This allows me to bend and twist the characters as necessary to deliver poses that are aesthetically pleasing and follow the body's shape. Then I bring them into 2D software to tweak the illustrations so they are ready for print. I hope you enjoy this designs as much as we do.

Akumu Ink is almost launched!

Happy New Year Ghouls and Gals!

Thanks so much for visiting Akumu Ink. We really hope our designs appeal to you as they do to us.

We are currently making our screens and we are almost set to launch. We will be ready by the end of January 2008, for sure! When we are ready to receive orders, we will set up the shopping cart. So, don't forget to bookmark us and come back to order your own limited edition tees!

Here is a picture of our Scottish Terrier, Tiny wearing a t-shirt that we've screenprinted. He's been so curious about what we've been doing, so we put the test shirt on him and took a picture for you guys to see. Isn't he a cutey??
